Three Jewels Reincarnation 2021
Three Jewels NYC is officially open for in-person classes once again! After celebrating our reincarnation with a dance party on May 1, we’re ecstatic to practice with members face-to-face for the first time in over a year! If you’re curious as to what’s changed and how to transition back from a digital space to a physical space, here are some things you can expect.
Studio Renovations
“We're reshaping the studio to present to students as an offering,” said Supriya Jain, meditation and dharma teacher. “You get the chance to meet this place as a reflection of your mind and whatever you’ve cleaned up in the last year and whatever you haven’t, you’re going to encounter it.”
This space is not the same space it was a year ago just like you are not the same person you were a year ago. COVID-19 showed us that there’s no going back to “normal,” only moving forward while integrating everything we’ve learned. We didn’t want to simply clean the studio and call it a reopening; we wanted to transform the space in the same way we’ve transformed our minds. With some fresh coats of paint and completely new hardwood floors, the physical space we occupy is brimming with inspiration and magic to reinvigorate your spiritual practice.
New Merch and Membership Tiers
Do you like feeling special by having things other people don’t? Come check out our new limited edition apparel collabs and Holy Water bottles. All apparel is 20% for our Unlimited Members, which starts at $49 a month. Unlimited members also enjoy free drop-in classes. Unlimited Plus Members, which start at $108 a month, will receive all of those benefits plus free shipping and a complimentary t-shirt upon registration. Please note that IRL classes for non-members are now $18 for meditation, and $24 for yoga. Livestream classes will remain priced as donation-based. We wouldn’t be a community without the support of people like you who continue to show up and make this space what it is, so if a sense of belonging is the thing you’re looking for, consider supporting our studio through a monthly membership.
New Classes and Teachers
In addition to our virtual classes, we’ve added two IRL offerings daily: one yoga class and one meditation class. Sachi Petit and JingJing Liang are new additions to our team of yoga teachers. We’ve also added a new meditation class called Wisdom taught by senior practitioner Earle Birney. As the city gradually reopens, we will continue to expand our schedule.
New Safety Measures
All of our yoga classes are held outside. All participants must sign a waiver, bring their own mat and props, and wear a mask. When teaching outdoors, the instructor will remove their mask in order to be heard. In the event of rain for outdoor yoga, the first 8 students who show up will be offered an indoor practice. There will be no hands-on adjustments.
Our indoor meditation classes will be capped at 12 students. It will be a calm, intimate and peaceful experience for those of you who are excited to ditch the screens and reconnect with your favorite teachers and community members in real time!
