Purification Retreat
A Silent Retreat in the South of Spain
May 20 - May 27, 2023
with Hector Marcel & Rachel Webb
Buddhism teaches us techniques to love in a way that expands beyond normal, that extends beyond the pain of disappointment, death, or loss. Lord Buddha taught us about 4 different modes of love, also known as the Four Immeasurables. These four states of mind: kindness, compassion, joy and equanimity are not an accident; they are skills that we hone through the art of repetition in meditation. This retreat will serve as a training ground to plant seeds in your mind that will blossom into these four modes of love.
For those who have shared the LOVE or SMILE meditation with us at Three Jewels, this retreat is a deep dive into that practice, with the supportive addition of mantra, and asana- including Lady Niguma’s ancient yoga sequence.
