Why Yoga/ Meditation/ Buddhism? The fast fiery yoga was my gateway drug in 2016. I was all about the workout + cute yoga gear (still am!) and had so much resistance to stillness when I got my start. In my 300-hour vinyasa training in India in 2018, we did a yin practice one day that completely cracked open my heart, released some very big physical and emotional tension I didn't even know I was holding. From then on out I became deeply curiosity about the energetic mind-body connection and what it means to listen deeply. I immersed myself in meditation and Buddhism after meeting Hector and Coco at a workshop in Spring 2019 that had me feeling all kinds of seen, and pulled more deeply into stillness. There's been no turning back. The only way out is in.
When I’m not at Three Jewels, I’m: Working 1:1 with Reiki clients, dancing in my underwear, and eating a lottt of peanut butter (generally not all at once)
Guilty Pleasure: Coloring books
Favorite TV Show: Currently super into The Midnight Gospel on Netflix
Who, or what, was your biggest teacher: Baby Sam continues to guide me through it all. She is such a little firecracker who dances through my mind with incredible wisdom. As well as my meditation teacher who I always feel deeply seen by; who is a reflection of virtue within me that I didn't know I had.
