Heart of a Warrior Saint: Master of Reality
22-Hr Meditation Immersion
Led by Rachel Webb
A warrior saint is someone who has mastered their own mind, and destroyed their mental afflictions. A warrior saint, a bodhisattva, is someone who has cracked open their heart to unconditional love, and a deep wisdom that makes them unshakeable. According to Buddhists, this is something anyone can achieve, with the proper training. Together, we will study the seminal text ‘The Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life’ or the Bodhisattvacharya Avatara by Master Shantideva and the learn to apply the many practices to become a warrior saint.
This training is based upon A Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life (Bodhisattvacharya Avatara) by Master Shantideva (700 AD), and the commentary Entry Point for Children of the Victorious Buddhas (Gyalse Juk-ngok) by Gyaltsab Je (1364-1432). Master Shantideva's work is considered the best book ever written to learn how to live as a bodhisattva, and this is one of the most famous commentaries ever written; it has been translated into English for the first time for this Course thanks to the Asian Classic Institute.
